THE TOCQUEVILLE SOCIETY: WE'RE BUILT FOR THIS

Marc Broady

From the Chairs

We are grateful for every member of the Tocqueville Society who stepped up to help during one of the most challenging periods in United Way of Central Maryland’s 96-year history.

When COVID-19 spread throughout our region, you enabled United Way to work to keep families stably housed, to put food on the table, and to deliver technology into the hands of schoolchildren and their parents.

In addition to generously contributing to our COVID-19 Community Fund, Tocqueville members answered the call to volunteer virtually or onsite in support of their neighbors. We recognize and appreciate your strong commitment to helping individuals and families throughout Central Maryland.

Whether you are one of our 99 new Tocqueville Society members this year or one of the 30 Founding Members of the new Emerging Tocqueville Society, all 559 Tocqueville members are the backbone of United Way’s mission-critical work. Thank you for your generosity and dedication to strengthening the well-being of our neighbors and neighborhoods.
