POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT
Responsible for all donor payment uploads and envelope transaction verification. (Proofing and closing). Serves as backup for Campaign Processing Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Processing
- Responsible for all Donor payment detail uploads via Andar connector.
- Must determine campaign year if not listed on supporting documentation.
- From a master file (match donors, Donor’s name, account #, ID and Organization name) a v-look up will be performed to pull donor details into a spreadsheet so that donor’s details can be uploaded in our accounting system.
- Once envelope number is created it will need to be added to UWCM’s daily backlink
- Completed envelope number to be sent to staff for closing.
- Responsible for proofing and closing paper pledge campaign envelopes.
- Once closed – Moved to completed file folder.
- Services as backup for Campaign processing Coo
- Meeting with staff in office for campaign processing
- Verifying Cash and Live Checks
- Remote check deposit processing
- Retrieving and sorting UWCM postal mail (physical location).
- Meeting with staff in office for campaign processing
- Respond to all requests and inquiries in a professional manner within one business day. Research the problem and make appropriate adjustments/corrections to successfully resolve the problem. Contact should be made within 24 hours and follow-up every 48 hours until the problem is resolved.
- Work with Donor Services team members and Finance team members to resolve requests submitted through email and voice mailbox from internal staff and external donors as needed.
ACCOUNTABILITY
- All campaign envelopes are processed timely or communicated to the manager if not able to do so. All work must be entered at 99.99% accuracy.
- Demonstrate consistent courtesy to all internal and external customers.
- Demonstrate ability to prioritize work and successfully handle multiple priorities by keeping all work current and meeting established deadlines.
INTERACTION
Establishes and maintains relationships with UWCM staff, contributors, agencies, company representatives, loaned executives, volunteers, external service providers, vendors, and banking representatives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- AA Degree with three (3) years relevant United Way experience or five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience
- Experience in payment and/or receivable transactions is desirable.
- Must possess outstanding Microsoft Excel skills, at an intermediate level or better. Skills must include the ability to utilize formulas and perform functions such as macros, formatting, sort, filter, copy and various paste functions.
- Thorough understanding of relational databases

Occasional walking or standing is required. The hands are regularly used to write, type, key and handle or feel small controls and objects. The employee must frequently talk and hear. Weights of up to 25 pounds are occasionally lifted. There is extensive use of a computer. Employee is primarily seated while performing the duties of the position.
