Where There is a Need, Women Lead the Way.
Women United is a powerful network of people representing a wide variety of age groups, backgrounds, workplaces, and interests who are committed to improving Greater Baltimore.
United Way of Central Maryland’s Women United is part of a global network of 70,000 members dedicated to creating stronger communities, healthier families, and better lives.
By connecting with local leaders, engaging in volunteer and leadership opportunities, advocating for solutions, and building relationships with like-minded women, Women United members lead the way to meet the needs of families struggling to make ends meet in Greater Baltimore.

“I met incredible women who actively mentored me and introduced me in a personal way to the impactful work of United Way of Central Maryland.”
“We need to redefine what philanthropy is… it’s not just about financial support. Philanthropy is every one of us. We need people who are willing to roll up their sleeves. Not just to do the work, but to bring their point of view on communities’ needs and share their talents to further our mission.”
