The Food Resiliency Grant will address food need in greater Baltimore and build capacity for local organizations
Baltimore, MD (August 22, 2024) – United Way of Central Maryland launches a new grant opportunity to address food need throughout the region and build capacity for local organizations doing this work. The Food Resiliency grant is an opportunity for organizations with total annual operating budgets of $500,000 or less to receive up to $10,000 per year for two years to carry out community-centered projects that are aimed at building food resiliency in central Maryland.
A total of six community partners will be selected to receive a Food Resiliency grant; one for each of United Way’s six jurisdictions in central Maryland (Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford and Howard Counties, and Baltimore City). The two-year grant period will be January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2026.
