  • When does registration for the 2024-2025 Case Management Certificate Program open?
    • Registration for the 2024-2025 Case Management Certificate Program will open in April 2024. Registration will remain open until the cohort is full.
  • When does the next cohort begin? How long does it run?
    • The Fall 2024-2025 Case Management Certificate Program will begin around September/October, depending on the availability of our various training partners. The program will run for six months and will conclude in February of 2025.
  • The Fall 2024 start date doesn't work with my schedule. Will I need to wait until Fall 2025 to enroll in the program?
    • There will be a second cohort beginning in January 2025. Registration for the Spring cohort will open in October/November 2024.
  • What time of day are the training sessions offered?
    • Training sessions are delivered between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM (EST).
  • Are there any prerequisites/educational requirements for registering in the program?
    • There are not any requirements for education level or perquisite trainings/courses to participate in this program. Our previous participants have come from a wide range of educational and professional backgrounds.
  • Do I receive a certificate or certification at the conclusion of the program?
    • Participants who have successfully completed the program and have passed the final capstone assignment are awarded a certificate of completion. This certificate does not serve as a case manager certification but is designed to provide participants with the skills needed to guide their clients back on the path to independent, self-sufficient lives.
  • What is the total cost of the program? Are any discounts offered? 
    • The program cost is $1,850 per participant. If an agency/organization enrolls multiple participants, they receive a 10% discount for every third person who is registered. We also have a military discount policy – 20% off each military/veteran registration with proof of military/veteran status.
  • Can financial aid or grants be used as a form of payment for the program?
    • We do not offer any form of financial aid to pay for participant registration.
  • Is the program delivered in person or virtually?
    • This program is delivered entirely online, allowing participants from across the country to register. All the training sessions will be delivered via Zoom or the training provider’s preferred virtual meeting platform.
  • Are CEU’s/Continuing Education opportunities available?
    • The University of Maryland School of Social Work Office of Continuing Education and United Way of Central Maryland are authorized by the Board of Social Work Examiners in Maryland to sponsor social work continuing education units. Throughout the entirety of the program, participants will have the opportunity to receive up to 53 Category I CEU’s.
