Participants will gain an understanding of relevant state laws, requirements for reporting, and the signs and symptoms of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect. This workshop will provide participants with information on how to respond to disclosures of abuse and then how to report to the appropriate authorities. Boundaries with minors will also be discussed. Participants will also gain appreciation of the ACE study and how its findings impact adult outcomes.
