United Way’s 30|30 Experience is a 90-minute, online session that reveals why so many hardworking people can’t make ends meet. You’ll assume the identity of a low-wage earner with a family, and make 30 decisions over 30 days—decisions that will affect you and your household. For those who haven’t experienced financial hardships firsthand, it can be difficult to understand the challenges and choices vulnerable families face every day. Through this activity, participants build empathy for those in our community.
