EMERGING LEADERS UNITED

Cultivating young leaders to improve our community

The Emerging Leaders United (ELU) Membership Network activates and champions young professionals to strengthen communities in Greater Baltimore. ELU members are inspired professionals who amplify their impact by connecting with other members and through professional development, volunteering, fundraising, and advocacy opportunities. We connect members to causes they care about and to organizations that are making a difference in our region.

United Way works for a more equitable future while empowering people to become self-sufficient by focusing on the necessities of a stable life: housing, health, employment, and education. ELU members work together and with United Way leadership and community partners to build resources needed to create long-term social change that improves lives and neighborhoods.

Join us for a variety of safe in-person and online professional development, educational and volunteer and networking events--while doing good!

November 10 - 20th

Join Emerging Leaders United (ELU) in our fall initiative to celebrate and inspire a student-parent who recently graduated from United Way of Central Maryland’s Excel Academy. Her resilience to pursue her education despite the many challenges of housing stability while raising her young son has inspired us to help. We ask you to join our efforts to raise at least $1,000 to purchase necessary supplies for her new apartment. All donations exceeding the goal will help others in similar situations.

All contributions will be appropriately recorded, and statements will be provided. Join our campaign here!
