Case Managers: Build Your Skills!
Our Case Management Certificate Program is a six-month, online training program for case managers across the U.S.
Standards for delivering case management services across the country vary and are inconsistent in both quality and frequency.
Created by United Way of Central Maryland and University of Maryland School of Social Work, two leading institutions in the field of health and human services, this program aims to standardize service delivery and provides case managers with the skills they need to guide clients back on the path to independent, self-sufficient lives.
“My participation in the Case Management Certificate Program was without a doubt a “value add” experience in my career as a public servant; one that I will consistently reflect upon for years to come. This program helped me to see that case management is a discipline that requires intentionality. It is a balance between art and science. Every client is unique and deserves acknowledgment of their lived experiences and the empowerment of choice. The journey for everyone may not be the same, but having a process is important. I would definitely recommend this program for anyone who wants a 360-degree view of case management.”
