Multigenerational Family Support
Guiding families from crisis to stability.
Our Family Stability Program helps families with children who are in a housing, financial, or other crisis and who live in targeted areas and/or attend targeted schools across Central Maryland.
Many families are referred to the program by school staff, other nonprofits, and community organizations, where they are led from despair to stability with compassion and support.

Jenny, a single mom in Dundalk with a 10-year-old son, lost her job and found herself struggling to pay her bills.
She was on the brink of eviction, hastily packing all her family’s belongings in a state of panic as she prepared to find a new place to stay. Overwhelmed and unsure where to turn, she received guidance from her landlord who recommended exploring our Family Stability program. With the support of her Coach, she received the necessary housing and other assistance, while taking proactive steps to prioritize her mental health and secure additional employment. Upon entering the program, her concerns about homelessness and her son’s schooling weighed heavily on her mind. Today, Jenny remains housed and employed. Her son, who recently graduated from 5th grade, didn’t have to endure the disruption of changing schools thanks to the stability provided by the program.
