Ways We Can Partner
Who are our partners?
MLK, Jr. Day of Service in partnership with Governor Wes Moore
United Way coordinated volunteer activities across the state attracting thousands and serving even more through our MLK Day of Service partnership with the Governor’s Office and Maryland’s Department of Service and Civic Innovation (2023 and 2024).
“Dr. King was a man of action, a man of impact – and today is a celebration and reminder that the work continues, and we must push forward the ideas and vision that he held so valuable. On this day, I encourage all Marylanders to rededicate themselves to the unfinished work of Dr. King in building a society of brotherhood, service, equality, and love.”

Building empathy through our virtual 30|30 Experience
The 30|30 Experience is a powerful online, interactive session featuring 30 real-life scenarios where you’ll experience what day-to-day life is really like when you’re working hard but struggling to make ends meet. The 30|30 Experience audience includes for-profit and nonprofit organizations, schools, leadership groups, boards, and more. Want a sneak peek of the 30|30 Experience?
“The 30|30 Experience was great because, for those who have never had to live this scenario, it can be an eye-opener and impactful to look at people living this real-life scenario. It gives you a better understanding that sometimes, no matter how hard you work and try, it still may never be enough.”
